Promata to Unveil Their New Door Locks for Trucks and Heavy Machinery at the 2025 Brisbane Truck Show

The 2025 Brisbane Truck Show is set to take place from Thursday, May 15th to Sunday, May 18th at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane.  The event is organized by Heavy Vehicle Industry Australia (HVIA) and is recognized as the largest commercial trucking showcase in the Southern Hemisphere.

Promata is proud to announce its participation where we’ll be showcasing our industry-leading range of TMPS units, wireless parking sensors and other automatic vehicle enhancements and accessories. As a trusted name in heavy transport solutions, we’re excited to connect with the trucking community and demonstrate both the quality and performance that define our products. This year, visitors will also get a first-hand look at an exciting new development - our new range of automatic door locks and openers.

Spanning over 30,000 square meters, the show will feature more than 300 exhibitions - everything from truck and engine brands, along with a vast array of trailers, components, equipment and cutting-edge technology. Across four days the show attracts over forty thousand visitors ranging from fleet executives to industry representatives to trucking enthusiasts.

We get unfortunate reminders for road safety in the news. In early May on the M1 highway, a significant traffic incident occurred where a truck spilled approximately 750 kilograms of finely ground steel debris across a 30-kilometer stretch. This sharp metal debris punctured the tyres of over 300 vehicles, leaving many stranded along the southbound lanes. The lanes were closed for several hours, with detours in place. Although the motorway was fully reopened by the afternoon, traffic congestion persisted.

The scary part is that some vehicles may have punctured tyres without even knowing it since some damage can take time to manifest. Due to this, authorities are urging people who were on the highway to check their tyres for damage. Tracking things in real time, our tyre pressure monitors provide immediate alerts the moment something is wrong with your tyre.

Now this range will be joined by our new products - all created to make driving, trucking and commercial vehicles safer and give drivers peace of mind. A brief overview of the new products we’ll be showcasing is below:

PSW-82 Sensors:

These are waterproof and wireless parking sensors for trucks. The digital sensors provide comprehensive rear coverage & precise readouts so that no blind spots at the back are left undetected. The detection range goes up to 4 meters for additional peace of mind. Like all our parking sensors, our 58KHz ultrasonic sensor provides superior coverage and accuracy compared to other brand’s  traditional 40KHz sensors. PSW-82 even works for vehicles with trailers to ensure every parking experience is a seamless one.

Mata 7S Telematics-Ready TPMS for Muti-Trailers & Fleets:

Our new Mata 7S-CAN and Mata 7S-R3232 can be seamlessly integrated with telematic systems. This allows you to monitor trucks and trailers both on-road and in-office - making it perfect for fleets of trucks and trucks with long or multiple trailers. Speak to us and we’ll be able to provide a custom solution tailored to your exact needs. With our flexibility, we can work with your telematics provider to integrate our TPMS units into your telematics system. As with all our TPMS units, you’ll get instant alerts to tyre pressure and tyre temperature. It stops the need for manual checks and gives you peace of mind when driving.

Remote Door Locks:

These remote door locks are designed for heavy machinery. The key FOB enables users to lock and unlock the vehicle door up to 30 meters away. The star feature is an auto open button that once pressed automatically opens the door for you. This saves you time, hassle and makes it easier when you’re carrying things. Suitable for most heavy vehicles and machinery such as  excavators, bulldozers and comes with a working temperature of -40 to 85 degrees celsius.

The show celebrates and promotes the industry’s design, engineering, manufacturing and technology innovation and the vital economic impact this has on Australia. We invite everyone to visit us at Booth 375.  Come meet us, explore our products, have a friendly chat and see the future of automotive parts first. We look forward to seeing you there!
