Mata 1 & Mata 2 TPMS Display Monitor Troubleshooting
Scenario: Position is blank on TPMS display monitor

Reason: This means no sensor has been paired to that position. To pair, enter sensor pairing mode, select the desired position and initiate pairing. First shake the sensors for a few seconds to wake them and pump them with air. If it records a reading, it means pairing is a success.
Video how to pair a sensor to the Mata 1 is below:

Video how to pair a sensor to the Mata 2 is below:

Scenario: Only dashes shows on the position and no other information

Reason: It means a sensor is paired but not connected. To connect, hold the sensor close to the monitor and shake vigorously for a few seconds. It should connect.
Scenario: Sensor is reading 00 even after being installed

Reason: There could be dust or debris blocking the sensor or the tyre valve stem. To resolve, clean out the sensor and tyre valve stem. When you screw on the external sensors, you should hear a hissing sound (sound of air going out) just before you tighten. This is when you know the sensor is properly connected with the tyre valve stem.
Scenario: The sensor won’t connect after sensor is shaken or it’s showing wildly inaccurate information

Reason: If it doesn’t connect or is showing wildly inaccurate information, then the Issue is likely in sensor pairing. In which case, please do the following:
For Mata 1
Delete all the problematic sensors from the display. Video tutorial on how to do that is here:

After deleting the sensors, repair it. Video tutorial on how to do that is here:

For Mata 2
Delete all the problematic sensors from the display. Video tutorial on how to do that is here:

After deleting the sensors, repair it. Video tutorial on how to do that is here:

Scenario: Sensors constantly beeping even when air pressure and temperature is fine
Reason: Check the pressure and temperature range in the settings. If set too high or too low, and the tyre pressure or temperature is outside the range, it will detect there’s an issue hence start beeping.
Video showing how to adjust pressure thresholds for Mata 1 is below:

Video showing how to adjust pressure thresholds for Mata 2 is below:

Scenario: The display goes blank after a few minutes of not being used
Reason: Both Mata 1 and Mata 2 enter sleep mode when they sense no vibration or pressure/temperature changes for 4 minutes. This is done to conserve battery. It wakes up once it detects vibration. Don’t worry, they will wake up the moment they sense vibration or there’s a pressure or temperature change!
Scenario: The display isn’t turning on
Reason: The battery may be depleted. Please charge the display monitor via USB cable for 4-6 hours then try turning it on.
Scenario: Where should the monitor be mounted?
Reason: The best place to mount a solar-powered TPMS display is on the dashboard - near an airvent and the car’s A pillar. This ensures the display monitor is easy to see while at the same time this place is also generally the coolest part of the car's dashboard.

Our displays can handle temperatures of up to 85 degrees Celsius. So long as a vehicle is being driven, the temperature won’t get near this high (due to air conditioning or the car being cooled by wind). However, if a car is left in the open sun during Australian summers, temperatures can actually rise above this! Putting them in the glove box on these occasions helps keep the TPMS display functioning well for years to come.
Scenario: The display is showing previous drives data
Reason: When starting a new drive, the TPMS may briefly display pressure data from your previous drive. After a few seconds, it will automatically update with the latest readings.
To ensure only the latest data is displayed from the start of each drive, please enter FreshData mode. In this mode, the display will simply show dashes at the start of a new drive until pressure data is received.
