**WARNUNG: Der externe Sensor enthält eine Knopfzelle. Von Kindern fernhalten.

Got new promata sensors they didnt work
Turned up very quickly. Happy.
PERHAPS the web info or the transponder should have included the brass locking ring and
PERHAPS the order page could ask if you required the white ID stamp on the cap. Mine was blank and I'm not sure how long a label maker will last...

Great sensors, accurate and takes the stress out of travelling long distances and towing a caravan. They are easy to set up and use.
I wanted a single TPMS for my 4wd that would also monitor a trailer, and use a combination of internal and external sensors. This was the solution, and it's working well.
Pre-sales support was awesome. I wanted to confirm that this system would meet my needs - my queries were understood, and answered well.
Installation was easy, the solar panel picks up in surprisingly low light - and there's always the USB backup if required. Adding & deleting sensors is relatively easy, tyre rotation was relatively painless. As an experiment, I put two external sensors on the 4wd rear tyres, and configured them as trailer rear axle - so I had an internal and external sensor on each tyre, and the two different pages displayed the same tyres in the same place. Pressures were always within 1 psi, but temperatures were dramatically different - external sensors are significantly biased towards ambient temperature, and don't provide an accurate indication of temperature inside the tyre.
Why not 5 stars? It loves to alarm! When adjusting tyre pressures for off-road work, it detects the change in pressure (as it should) but silencing the alarm doesn't last long - the alarm comes back to nag too frequently until the thresholds are adjusted. Getting used to that is taking some time.
The car wash also caused some frustration - the tyres all cooled down, pressures dropped, so the system alarmed when I climbed back in. That's OK, except it seems that I had to silence each tyre individually. My last system didn't do that.
A minor suggestion for the product development team: when changing tyres, can C1 default to the vehicle spare? If I'm changing a flat on the side of the road, I will be moving the spare - I won't necessarily be moving front left.
Each wheel valve has a sender unit and a locking nut, but you won’t get a replacement nut with the new sender unit. Such a small cost component but so important for the system. So now I have six sender units and five locking nuts.
