In the past, once a sensor has been installed, if pairing has been messed up, tyres get swapped around or you get a new display, you may need to re-sync the sensors. This isn't an issue with external sensors since you can re-sync easily. With internal sensors however, you either need to remove them or drive the vehicle/spin the wheels first (to wake up the sensors) to re-sync. Now with EZsync, you can re-sync your internal sensors with the press of a button.

Classic TPMS vs EZsync TPMS - What's the Difference?

  • Classic TPMS

    • Choice between internal or external sensors.
    • If using internal, you need to either drive the vehicle beforehand/or spin the wheels to wake up the sensors or remove them to re-sync.

  • EZsync TPMS

    • Internal sensors only (since external sensors are easy to re-sync).
    • To re-sync, enter sensor pairing mode, hold the display monitor close to the installed sensor and press a button.
